The Edge: Born from Winter. Built with Purpose.

Born and raised in the snowbelt region of Northeast Ohio, Andrew was no stranger to vicious winter weather. But on one especially frigid morning, he discovered his car covered with heavy snow and a thick layer of caked-on ice. Naturally, his lame little plastic snow scraper was nowhere to be found. So, Andrew improvised by using a lid from a bin, which worked surprisingly well.

In fact, it became his makeshift snow scraper for the next six winters. Andrew realized he was onto something when no other lid or scraper could beat it, and the countless inquiries from bystanders confirmed it.

With his entrepreneurial wheels turning, Andrew kept his eyes on the market and US patent searches for the next few years. Convinced there was a big gap where a breakthrough concept in snow + ice scrapers should go, he spent months engineering and product testing to develop what would soon become The Edge.

Along the way, he leaned heavily on the guidance, encouragement, and honest feedback of his family and friends—who believed in the mission before a prototype ever existed. The Edge was built to be innovative and efficient, yes—but also to improve roadway safety during harsh winter conditions and give back by supporting freshwater and oceanic waterway cleanup efforts.
