The Edge is a new company, and some of our earliest customers, testers, and reviewers naturally included people who know our founder personally. We have never asked anyone—friends, family, or otherwise—to leave a positive review. Anyone who has reviewed the product has been specifically asked to provide their genuine experience and honest opinion, whether positive or negative. We agree that reviews only have value when they reflect what someone actually thinks about the product.

You also raised a fair question regarding reviews associated with Florida. Some earlier reviews were imported from a review-collection campaign conducted by a third-party marketing company that we no longer work with. Those reviews were not represented as verified purchases, and we have intentionally maintained that distinction rather than presenting them as something they are not.

As our customer base grows, an increasing share of our feedback will naturally come from customers throughout the snowbelt and from people using The Edge through full winter seasons in areas with substantial snow and ice.

We also recognize that no product is going to be the right solution for every person, climate, or preference. We make strong claims about The Edge because we believe in the product and the problem it was designed to solve, but ultimately customers should evaluate it based on its actual performance.
